Love is in the air. It’s a cold February with a chance of keeping warm by a little cuddling and schmoozing.
Physical Touch Date: Embrace your inner Jane Austen and take your date to a Victorian Dance Class and Party. It is every Elizabeth Bennett obsessed lady’s dream to dance in a hoop skirt around a ballroom floor. Make her dream come true in true Darcy style by taking her to the ball, holding her close, clapping along, and twirling her around the room. Victorian clothes are not required but they make a party much more lively. The party is from 7pm to 9pm and hor d’oeuvres will be provided and will be held at the Impact Event Center in Guthrie.
Gifts Date: Gift your S.O. the gift of all three of their favorite things: chocolate, wine, and yoga. After practicing a one-hour yoga session you will be treated to a wine tasting of 3 vineyard wines complete with chocolate pairings. Afterwards, the couple will enjoy an entrée of beef sliders and wine. Sounds like the perfect evening to me. The eve begins at 6:30pm at Tres Suenos Winery and yoga mats are limited so you may want to BYOM.
Acts of Service Date: Sometimes we don’t have a baby sitter for a date night or maybe all the good restaurants are fully booked. Stay home and cook dinner together or make a fancy dessert. If you don’t want to go out for groceries then clean the house for your other half.
Words of Affirmation Date: Strengthen your bond with a two day couples retreat at the Holiday Inn and Suites. Ivana and Joshua Richey are marriage coaches and speakers helping couples to understand each other and transform their marriages. Reconnect with your significant other over a magic filled event that will leave you with long-term benefits.
Quality Time Date: Spend a little time learning something new with your boo. Take this sushi class to create your own dinner for the two of you. You will be taught to make heart shaped sushi rolls and enjoy Riesling wine with them. What more could a boy want than sushi and spending a little quality time with his favorite person? Event held at Diamond Nutrition in Edmond.
By speaking their language they’ll remember this date for years upon years.
